There are a lot of actors who had humble beginnings. Some had to take meager jobs to survive. But others were lucky enough to have been casted by some of the most famous fashion designers in the modeling industry.

Cara Delevigne, one of the top supermodels of her generation, is the latest catwalker to try her luck as a an actor. She stars in the upcoming film adaptation of John Green’s Paper Towns. Who else started out as a famous model who were lucky enough to get booked for labels like Versace, Guess and Calvin Klein, to name a few?

Her father is one of the living rock legends, Steven Tyler, and her mother, Bebe Buell, was a top model herself. But it was Paulina Porizkova, also a famous model, who made her a famous model thanks to personal photographs of a teenage Liv. After being featured in Interview magazine, Liv caught the attention of modeling companies. By 1993, she walked the runway for Versace and was made the face of Maybelline.
