Italian shipyards have long been renowned as industry leaders due to their design, craftsmanship, and production expertise. Italy is home to some of the oldest and most prestigious yards, including Ferrett Group, Azimut Benetti and Sanlorenzo. With roots dating as far back as 1819, it should come as no surprise that Italian builders have been credited for their innovative drive, unwavering passion and dedication to building the highest quality vessels. Centred around the once quiet and small town of Viareggio, the city has evolved over the past 200 years into the world’s hub for superyacht construction, building 44 percent of 750 superyachts constructed since 2016, according to SuperYachtTimes. Continually investing in the latest state of the art technologies and tools, these yards are also celebrated for launching some of the most advanced yachts to date. Here, we look at three of the best ingenious Italian yachts for sale with FGI Yacht Group today.

With a bold, striking and futuristic design, the WHY200 offers the best of a high-performance and luxury motor yacht in one. Offering 30 percent more deck surface than any other yacht in its category, the deck and working space in front of the helm station remains her only outdoor area. The main design focus of the WHY200 is on enhancing the interior space available, which includes a massive beam of 7.66 metres. Stand out features include a 32 square metre beach club, a 46 square metre main deck cockpit area and a split garage that can fit a tender, large jetski and several toys. Able to accommodate eight guests in four cabins in the standard configuration, this includes the full-beam master suite on the main deck with 270-degree views. Lamborghini 63
Bringing together the best of performance quality, attention to detail and speed, the new limited-edition Lamborghini 63 from Tecnomar celebrates the foundation of the automobile company. The unique, sleek and striking exterior design reflects the essence of Lamborghini’s DNA, with an aerodynamic profile designed to fly across the open waters. Measuring 19.2 metres in length, this custom-finished motor yacht is built from special carbon fibre that ensures its classification in the ultralight boat range, with a maximum weight of 24 tonnes. With an outstanding top speed of 60 knots, she is powered by two MAN V12-200 HP engines, making her the fastest in the Tecnomar fleet. Her exterior and interior design incorporate lines from iconic Lamborghini cars Miura and Countach from the ’60s and ’70s. The hardtop is inspired by Lamborghini roadster models, while she features the same distinctive engine start button as the sports cars do. Available in three flexible layouts, including a lounge version with open spaces, one cabin version and a two-cabin version, owners can choose which layout best suits their needs.
